Willow Weaving Workshops

About

Under the expert guidance of Navar Willow, you'll learn traditional weaving techniques to create unique pieces to take home.

These workshops will take place monthly from May to July:

In May, come and learn to weave traditional basketry techniques to create your very own beautiful willow flowers,

In June you'll craft two beautiful spiral weave baskets, each with a rustic log base.

In July you'll learn to weave your very own Celtic Knot basket. Their intricate elegant design means they are now used as wall decoration as well as being a functional basket.

Dates: 17th May, 28th June and 26th July 2025

Location: The Grand Yard, Castle Coole

Cost: £45 - £90 (includes all materials, plus tea, coffee, and biscuits)
