About
For OMG!’s second weekend, two English actors (Vladimir and Estragon) will meet two Irish actors (Pozzo & Lucky) on an upland mountain bog beside the Northern Irish border in County Fermanagh to deliver their performed-reading of Waiting for Godot around sculptor Antony Gormley’s Tree for Waiting for Godot. Both sets of actors will be meeting for the first time!
The audience is invited to approach the theatrical setting - Antony Gormley’s specially commissioned Tree for Waiting for Godot and the two waiting actors - by
themselves walking a couple of kilometres to the performance site. The play opens with Estragon’s words ‘Nothing to be done’ having taken off his boot and rubbing his sore feet.
Meeting point for bus travellers: Enniskillen Castle Museum car park.
For those travelling by car, a meeting point will be announced on our social media @happy_days_enniskillen.
