The Lough Erne Landscape Partnership are excited to announce the launch of 'The Lisbellaw Woollen Mill' written by Mr Roland Eadie, O.B.E, F.R.I.C.S., D.L.
A collection of memories and photographs curated by Mr Roland Eadie, Great-Grandson of co-founder John Eadie, who shares the history and some recollections of The Lisbellaw Woollen Mill, known as Henderson & Eadie Ltd 1858 to 1965 ; once one of the main employers in Co. Fermanagh.
On the night you will be welcomed with a drink reception which will be followed by talks from guest speakers, including Mr Roland Eadie.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore The Lisbellaw Woollen Mill (Henderson & Eadie Ltd.) artifacts and collection items on display kindly provided by Enniskillen County Museum, Headhunters Museum and local collectors. We are also privileged to have Elaina Blampied who will be demonstrating the intricate skill of wool spinning.
Attendees will be encouraged to share their own stories at the end of the evening, in a collection of rich social history.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase on the night at £5 each (cash only).
All money collected through the purchasing of this book will go towards future re-printing.
