About

ALL LIVE, ALL DISCO, ALL NIGHT – THE GROOVE LINE HITS THE ROAD THIS AUTUMN!

What's got 16 legs and funks harder than the lovechild of James Brown and Donna Summer?

The Groove Line, of course! And they're on the road this September, with dates in the Ardhowen Theatre on Saturday 10th September and the Strule Arts Centre (Saturday 24th of September).

The brainchild of Phil Duffy and Chic drummer Ralph Rolle, The Groove Line were set up with one mission in mind - to get people on the dance floor.

These are all good times with The Groove Line. All live, no backing tracks and an encyclopaedic knowledge of all the best floor fillers of the past 40 years.

From the auspicious beginnings in McHughs' Basement, playing to a packed room for a Nile Rodgers aftershow (with Ralph himself on the drum stool) to a run of sold out sets in the Empire Music Hall, Belfast, The Groove Line have amassed a formidable live reputation and are ready to go on the road once again.

With a curated set-list of all your disco favourites, from The Bee Gees, Diana Ross, Blondie, Prince, Chaka Khan, Daft Punk, Sister Sledge and CHIC it's a little slice of Studio 54 in your favourite local arts venue!

We encourage all our guests to get into the Groove and we want everyone dressed in their 70s finery!
