The Artistry of Lough Erne - Lough Erne Heritage Festival

About

Belleek Development and Heritage Group are excited to present The Artistry of Lough Erne facilitated by the artistic talents of Aisling Quinn, Catherine Keogh and Cate Pritchard at The Uplift Gallery, in the quaint and picturesque village of Belleek.

This trio of super talented ladies will host a series of 4 wonderful art workshops inspired by Lough Erne as part of the Lough Erne Festival supported by The Lough Erne Landscape Partnership.

Begin your art workshop with a gentle guided walk with one of the artists, to Belleek Marina. Your artist will encourage you to mindfully notice the flow and features of Fermanaghs famous waterways.

On return to the Uplift Gallery and bursting with inspiration, enjoy some light refreshments and a chance to learn a little more about the individual techniques in art used by Aisling, Catherine and Cate, before creating your own piece of art with their guidance.

You will learn about the ancient celtic tree alphabet, Ogham and have the opportunity to practice writing in this style and then have your work laser engraved in the gallery onto a keepsake of your choice.Use dried wild flowers that surround Lough Erne, paint or ink to enhance your unique piece of art.

Included too an ornate metal token, designed by Cate a keepsake piece embodying legends and myths of Lough Erne.
