Music In Fermanagh presents Quatuor Béla

About

Quatuor Béla have become one of the leading European quartets working with contemporary composers such as Garth Knox, Kaija Saariaho and Francesca Verunelli. Founded in 2006 by four musicians from the National Higher Conservatory of Music of Lyon and Paris, the Béla Quartet is committed to championing new compositions and exploring the relationship between composers and performers. Their April 4th recital for Music in Fermanagh Audiences at St. Macartin's Cathedral will feature significant works of the classical repertoire with Beethoven's 7th 'Razumovsky' Quartet, Fauré's only string quartet and his final composition, alongside three new pieces by Northern Ireland composers Simon Mawhinney, Piers Hellawell and Pedro Rebelo.

Please note the venue of this concert is St. Macartin's Cathedral, Enniskillen. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door (cash only).

The evening is presented by Music in Fermanagh, a registered charity, with support fromFermanagh/Omagh District Council.
