Jazz Concert- Andrew Irwin and Joe Hill

66 Belmore St, Enniskillen, Fermanagh, BT74 6AA
Andrew Irwin

About

A Fermanagh classical tenor will be performing a concert with a difference in June.

Andrew Irwin, known for his classical and musical theatre work, will bring a fresh perspective to the Saddlers Bistro on June 27.

Instead, his performance will be full of tracks from 'the Great American Songbook', popularised by celebrated artists such as Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.

The noted vocalist will be adding a touch of Jazz alongside some unexpected surprises to his usual repertoire.

He vows to let his hair down and embrace this new musical style in his beloved Enniskillen.

Sharing the stage with Irwin will be Joe Hill, one of the UK's most sought-after Jazz pianists.

Mr. Hill, who has played gigs both nationally and internationally with renowned artists, moved to London in 2014 where he has performed at esteemed venues such as Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, the Barbican Concert Hall, and The Royal Albert Hall.

In 2018, Mr. Hill was a featured soloist for the BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall, performing Stan Kenton's 'West Side Story' suite.

He also featured on BBC Radio 2's 'Friday Night Is Music Night' with the BBC singers.

In 2019, he was a soloist on 'Cuban Fire', an album that clinched the New York Times' Best Latin Jazz Album 2019 award.

Tickets for the evening are priced at £25, and include a complimentary supper and a glass of wine or soft drink.

They can be bought in advance at The Horseshoe and Saddlers. Ticket availability is limited, and the event will begin at 7.30pm.
