Come along and get boggin' at the Ulster American Folk Park bog with The Conservation Volunteers on Friday 3rd November.

Our native bogs are an extremely valuable habitat in our fight against climate change. They've the ability to store high levels of carbon whilst supporting a wealth of native flora and fauna.

Here at the Folk Park, we're fortunate to be host to one of these precious resources. Learn just how important our bogs are and be prepared to roll up your sleeves to help save our bog from the invasive species threatening its special ecosystem!

What to know

This event will take place on the bog at Ulster American Folk Park.
Please wear suitable footwear, preferably wellies and long trousers as this is an outdoor activity.
Lunch will be provided.
Perfect mid-term activity for families and ages 6+.
