The Ardhowen welcome back Caritas, a group of local musical talents preforming traditional Christmas Carols, festive favourites, in an evening that promises to bring alive the spirit of the festive season.
Caritas are a thriving mixed-voice choir who began life in 2014 as a small group who "Just wanted to sing". With the help and guidance of musical director Helen Hamill, Caritas has grown organically from there. As a group, in addition to choral performances, they feature the talents of individual members, traditional musicians, solo players and many capable vocal soloists. Caritas are the "Choir with the Big Heart" having raised over £15,000 for local charities.
