Beautiful Burren Painting Workshop.

Cavan Burren Park, Blacklion, Cavan, CAVAN
Cavan Burren Park Panorama

About

This project is funded by Creative Ireland and Cavan County Council through Creative Cavan in partnership with the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark
All materials will be included, but please bring any drinks and snacks

The workshop will begin with a short walk to some of the most beautiful sites within Cavan Burren Park, before sitting to paint and enjoy a stunning view of Cuilcagh Mountain, Tullygobbin Tomb or the rugged landscape that surrounds you. Painting will be done outdoors, in the event of rain or high winds, painting will be moved to the interpretative centre – please ensure you have a camera or phone to capture the image you wish to paint. This workshop will be led by local artist Khalid Paracha:

"Art is in Khalid's blood as his grandfather, father and uncle were all professional artists. As art is in his genes and having grown in a family who were professional artists, I do not doubt his passion for art. He always says "Life is Art; Paint your Dreams"."
