About

Join us on Monday the 11th March for another Lisnaskea Historical Society Talk. Guest Speaker on the night will be Melanie Ward who will be sharing her research on David Moore, a boatman from the Castle Saunderson estate who was convicted of theft and transported to Australia in 1829.

Melanie's talk 'A Tale of Transportation - The Case of David Moore' will bring you from the tranquil waters of Lough Erne to the vast expanses of the Australian Outback. It is a remarkable story of adversity and human resilience.

A £4.00 admission charge applies and includes refreshments.

Everyone welcome!
