Thanksgiving Celebrations

Ulster American Folk Park, 2 Mellon Road, Omagh, Tyrone, BT78 5QU
An america flag in the folk park

About

In North America, Thanksgiving celebrations are a time for people to give thanks for their home and family. It's a time to recall the determination of early settlers, who set the foundations for the success of future generations of America.

Discover traditional Thanksgiving celebrations at Ulster American Folk Park on 25th and 26th November.

Join the Partridges of Slippery Rock in our Western Pennsylvania Log House as they prepare their turkey and anxiously await the return of their only son Joseph, an infantryman in the Union Army. This performance will be taking place several times throughout the day so you've multiple opportunities to catch it!

Taste traditional thanksgiving food like Succotash and apple pie in our Log Cabin, and do some Barn Dancing to the Virginia Reel! Don't miss American Union Civil War Solider re-enactments by The Minstrel Boys Living History group.
