Raku Pottery Taster Session

Carnmore Road, Roslea, Fermanagh, BT92 7BS
Raku

About

Join us for an enchanting journey into the world of Raku with our captivating taster session designed especially for newcomers.

Unleash your inner artist as you explore the time-honoured Japanese firing technique of Raku, celebrated for its mesmerising and unpredictable results.

Our process commences with glazing and firing pottery from a selection of pre-made items, removing pottery from the kiln while at bright red heat and placing it into containers with combustible materials. This is a very exciting pottery experience that gives fast results and amazing effects.

The Raku glaze's copper and cobalt oxides interact with the clay, air, fire and water, giving birth to unforeseen shades and intricate patterns.

10am - 1pm

£80 per person
